I have aquired a set of MV6 17inch wheels for my 2.6 CDX saloon and need tyres. What would be the recommended make of tyres in 235/45/17

Hello mate,
When I had 17's I used Pirelli and Continentals. Can't fault them.

I'm going back to 17's in the Spring and shall be looking to put these on again.

I have also considered Potenzas and will give them a go if the others ain't available when I come to reboot my 17's

HTH

Matthew

model S001 ..  :'(

the last time I tried to buy them, you can have them only by pre-paid order , need to wait 2 weeks and no guarantee for them being maximum 6 months old :o >:(

ok.. I dont buy.. >:(

S001's? Blimey no! Never heard of 'em!

And judging by the You tube clips you posted am never likely to either!

No, I'm more a REO50A type of tyre buyer (if Potenzas were going to be bought, that is)

I'll exhaust my Continental/Pirelli fascination first................  ::)

Matthew ;)

Matthew, I'm not sure Ferrari or Aston will make the mistake of choosing wrong tires :P

I think the KU31s are a good tyre for the money. My biggest complaint is lack of feedback, in that they don't tell you when they are going to kill you.  Not taken KU31s through a cold snap yet either, so can't say how well they hang on in there when the temps plummet
