You never know, stripping those omegas paid off doing the breather system, off with one and on with the clean bits.  Next mission is to try and fit front fogs, IF I can find the elusive loom that it supposed to be tucked away near the f/l/h headlight.

It`s elusive Bob because it`s not fitted on early GLS spec ;)
If you have an external temp sensor fitted behind front bumper, follow wiring back to where the twin horns are and the connector is there. You will need to remove the sensor loom and replace with the combined fog & sensor loom as in this pic. If no ext. sensor, the connector should still be there tucked away in the vicinity of the horns

Rob thanks for that makes it a bit more understandable, by external temp sensor would that be linked to the internal display?  I have a (I think) two pin socket more or less in centre of bumper.

That`ll be for the ext. temp sensor (in pic below). Follow the wiring towards the horns area and you will see where it connects to the main loom (pic of conn. below). To fit the fogs you will need the loom in my pic which consists of fog & ext. sensor wiring combined. Just a case of swapping out the looms, fitting the "double" switch bank in your existing light switch, fitting the fogs, then whacking a 20A fuse in #16 of cabin fusebox.
Got all you need here Bob if you decide to proceed

Rob not really had chance to hunt and also been laid low all over christmas wit the norovirus.  Thanks for the pictures, what does confuse me is that behind the bumper I have a oval socket marked just like the two in the picture with a green band and the top is blue, but nothing like the sensor in the picture, loom comes from washer bottle then splits with this plug and dissaperars it seems upwards away from the horns but hard to tell without crawling underneath, it could well go near the lights then back down.
