Yup, easy, just Google for some recovery programs. All that happens when you delete is its not displayed in the file system, its still there, still occupying disk space, until over-written.

The simpliest if you do full system back up. The op system is restarting but in some days before status!  :y

timescales....

have you just deleted it, or months ago?

the more recent, the better chance it is still intact somewhere (use tunnies advice to find a tool to recover)

Depending how much data activity you have (saving & deleting large files) it maybe partially deleted by now.

Google for some recovery tools, if that fails a system restore will be your only choice, but this will take you back 6 weeks, so anything created since then, will be lost.

Has it been totally deleted or is it sitting in your computers waste bin?

If you have just done a normal document delete it shouldl be sitting in the computer's waste bin.  :y

If in the waste bin, just double-click on the bin icon on your desktop and retrieve the file (copy and paste it back in your 'my documents' folder).  :y

I hope this is of help.

First of all check the Recycle Bin.

If not there, there are options, but ask a friend who is good with computers to try it, as there is the potential to get in a whole heap of doo-do
