Seen the maintenance guide about pushing in clip and turning then pulling but mines don't wanna come off.

I had the same yesterday.Finally found that if you oush the locking rings forward until they actually come off the end of the hose,the hose will then pull off.The ring can then be put back on after you have pulled the hose off. :y

If you don't have the green plastic ring in place, you will find it a challenge.

I noticed those dangling loose from my matrix pipes.Wondered what they were. ::) ;D

If you don't have the green plastic ring in place, you will find it a challenge.

Thats sitting loose behind the pipe. on the top hose.

Thats sitting loose behind the pipe. on the top hose.
Push it up against the mechanism (it shoudl fit in a certain place), when you push the black part of the clip back, the green bit assists it to unclip.

Matchless's guide is bang on, except use green ring to help getting back on. I smeared in vaseline to get it on as well.

On my early (1994) Omega I found that mine had bonded themselves to the heater pipes. Once I had broken the seal they worked as advertised but it was a real struggle to get them moving in the first place.

Rotating helps break seal between hose and alloy pipe.
