I changed an M reg Omega 2.5's dispack it had the older type I was refering too.
Now I know from R reg so 1997 ish the same shaped dispack has been used and so the bolt pattern are the same, if that makes sense.
The dispack in your later link is the later dispack, although has a rectangle (square cornered) connection. The ones I have mainly fitted look the same but have an Oval ( radiused cornered).
So this is why I asked what your original dispack was like., as the earlier and later dispack will have a different bolt pattern. When you mentioned the bolts would not fit, I think you may see what I am trying to establish

So I'm guessing i need the earlier one (up to 97'ish) square plugged, why they have to make it so difficult!
