Had the same problem...sprayed the centres with plus gas left it half hour...sprayed again left it again then one foot each side of tyre and just kept  kicking they came off...before replacing..wire brushed the crap off and then put a smear of copper slip on...never had the problem since... :y

I nearly broke my foot trying to get a wheel off a car, only to find gayboygixer hadn't undone all the bolts  >:(

Still, makes a change from him forgetting to do them up afterwards  >:(

Or is he just trying to kill me?  Like the time I was generous enough to let him borrow my wheels/tyres at a meet, only for him to refit them the wrong way round :o

Soft faced hammer and hit the inner edge of the rim. Rotate and repeat :y

(same as using a block of wood but easier!)
