Power steering issue.
« on: 26 June 2012, 19:50:55 »

Had a recon power steering pump fitted which immediately restored steering assistance at idle, however its still not 100%.
It seems after a couple of dry/quick turns the assistance dissipates and you can feel the steering stiffen up.
Fitted a red relay from a breaker  which has made little impact.

Is there a filter of some description? Ran the old fluid out on tickover as there was a fair bit of metal in the system.

Any ideas?

(radio volume increases with speed so guess speed signal is ok)
