Retro fitting cruise control
« on: 03 October 2012, 16:25:31 »

Hi everyone, just bought myself a 'v' reg mv6. Unfortunately it hasn't got cruise control. I picked an indicator stork the other day as my old wasn't working ver well, it had the cruise control buttons on the end. When I changed it I noticed that the four wire connection was there for the cruise control. Would anyone know what else I need as the car that I got the stork from has the control cable etc. is there a computer ecu that i need. Will the dash display the functions. I do several motorway and duel carriageway runs so would love to get this to work. The other thing is does anyone have some spare headlamp washer jets. Mine are missing and vauxhall want £100 plus for the pair. Any info will be great.

I may have a cruise ECU and cable....
I may have a washer or 2, ill check.

you will still need a new 4 pin brake switch as well (see the guides in the maint guide section for whats involved in fitting)
