I sold my Omega Elite over 18 months ago but still look in on the forum almost daily - other car forums just don't have the "feel" of this one.

an excellent audio system with DAB, Bluetooth and USB port
Has it got the voice module? Seem to be prone to faults, which wipes out the bluetooth - although it seems dealers can repair without replacing bits :)

Other common issues are engine - injectors leak, causing diesel in oil, and the very common DMF failures at around 40-60k

All cars have their faults, and the Mundano is no better or worse than any other :), but I reckon being forewarned is a good thing :y

Hope it serves you well, its not a bad car :y. Just check oil regularly for any signs of oil level rising.

Yes. The first thing I did was to upgrade the BT/Voice/USB SW downloaded from the Ford web site. My car was built in Sept'10 - just before the facelift. Seems that many manufacturers move backwards with a facelifted version - IMHO of course.  ::)

The oil will be changed with GM fully synth every 3000 miles - sourced via TC of course.  :y

I had essentially the same engine (DW10) in the C5 I had as a company car in the last job - so have an idea of what to expect, but wrapped up in a Mondeo shape instead.

Also, it's a non-DPF car - which can't be a bad thing as they are a right pain from what I can gather.

So, all in all a new era.  :)

I think TC do a specific oil for Ford TDCi now - double check and look on the TC website :y
