Compression Test Kit...this one ok?

Not many 6-piece kits available it seems but after a bit of hunting this one is the most complete I could fine. I'm thinking the Omega will take the 14mm adapter? Do you agree?

They may be push in adapters for unmusual size plug holes where the threaded adapters wont fit ? Not sure tbh.

A cylinder tester is a much more useful tool.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Sealey-Tools-VSE2020-Cylinder-Piston-Leak-Leakage-Pressure-Tester-Head-Gasket-/360423720949?pt=UK_Diagnostic_Tools_Equipment&hash=item53eaed87f5

Compression testers are cheap enough and a good start point.

Completely agree mate. You can find out exactly what and where the leakage is.

Only trouble being is you have to hook them up to shop air or compressed air tank.... just extra expense when I only really want to confirm if there is a problem or not  :y

HAVING SAID THAT... if I bought the compressed air tank I could purchase (in the future) a windy gun  :) :) :) :)

a couple of months back a classic mag (practical classics i think ) done a test on the sealey compression  tester and it come out as their top buy and the price you have found it at is £15 cheaper than they list :y

OK  ... I'll bite...  :(

So, why is it called a "6 piece kit" ... when I count 8 items in the box ???
