Hi,
Someone at work has a 54plate Tigra coupe(I know  ) and with the recent rather wet weather there is a significant leak from what appears to be the passenger side window (there is no door surround as such so the door window closes against the seal of the main car body). Apparantly this is a common fault and there is a spray that will cure it??I presume its down to a faulty seal and the spray is similar to AC50/WD40 water repellant as opposed to a sealant as such. Anyone any ideas?

That was my first thought Martin,(and as a cabriolet owner I guess yours is similar door-wise?), but he reckons several people have mentioned this "spray". Personally I cant see it but maybe someone on here can enlighten me?

i had to adjust the door on mine so it pulled the window close to the seal,only by 1mm which was enough

Maybe they mean adjust the door for a better seal first , THEN use the spray?

Never heard of that unless its expanding foam

It simply needs something to soften the rubber seal which will have hardened and becoming depressed....plenty of options around for that

a silicone spray should be ok

why didn't you post this before I spent £130 on a new screen/A post seal on her Smart?
