Looking at that lot, as tunnie say's you need access to the root files ie jailbreak  :-\

Iexplorer doesnt need jailbreak...ive just tested it!  and easy to use. (delays if not registered though)
diskaid a little less friendly, but looks to work too.  (although you need to register)

but they DO NOT need jailbreak

Both will show you media and let you copy it!

Must have updated it then, last time I used it, admittedly around 2 years ago it needed it. It must have gotten smart  :)
