And, quite often with stainless systems, they are a bit flat on power. Possibly due to cost savings using a single pipe, instead of the oe twin mid sections perhaps?

Not such a big deal if the bore is larger to compensate :-\
if. You make a single bore system on the v6 you will lose power due to the pulse wave caused by the valves opening hence it has two,pipes into a duel pipe rear box,A good quality stainless system should be twin as per the original.

Have a polish system on my 3.2 estate,came with all the clamps,hangers and bolts £93.00 delivered :y
As many on here have said its a no brainer £90 or £300+ you do the maths :)
