Don't take this the wrong way EMD, but all this talk of refurbing wishbones is not really for the faint hearted. It's not straightforward and can easily go wrong. You really need a re furbed set before you start dismantling your car.

As said, check exactly what part the mot station is saying has failed, but IMO, if its wishbone related, just fit a new set of Lemforders. I would never recomend anything cheaper either. Minimum layout=Lemforder, or Meyle. (but  as with all oe style bushes, make sure the wb bolts are tightened wheels loaded.)

Thanks for the link chris , MOT said slight play in pin bush and slight play in anti roll bar bush .. i know what anti roll bar bushes are as ive replaced quite a few  :D PIN BUSH  >:( why cant they describe the proper part  >:(
Anyway i will check but looking for slight play mite be difficult  :-\ Best get a decent pry bar , knew i should have picked one up last week  ::)
