For once I agree with Bigyin 

Looking to see a mate in Darlington towards end of the year, looked at the train as its a good 4.5 hour drive up there. They wanted £120 for a return ticket   

Splitting fuel with a mate, it would be about £30 each if we took the 2.2 

I bet the truck drivers love you on the A1.................

Since when could trucks do 80mph 

Then why does it take you so long? blimey I have driven to meetings in South London and back in a day in a Cortina, I also lived in Hertford for 7 years; I am about half hour north of Darlington, Hertford to here in 3 - 3.5 hours in a Talbot Matra Rancho, quicker in other cars, assuming the roads are fine, and they have all been upgraded since those day.  Use the A1 not the M1........

not tight at all he thought he did .i had gone to make a coffee . did ask him if they tight . he said yes
