this may appear as a silly point, but have you considered isolating the water input and filling the unit with limescale remover, I have to do this with my line marking jets to rejuvenate them !

Ive not gone that far with cleaning...but dont think thats the issue..

Ive gone for my inital thoughts, installation tomorrow.
