Firstly accept all cordless phones are shite. Corded all the way, as those that have been to my gaff will testify.

But if you must, I've had great success with various BT branded ones, including Diverse (the original 1000 series were a bit suspect connecting to other base stations). Currently running a pair of BT X10s that appeared on my desk 10yrs ago, and have been flawless (batteries aside). I prefer them to newer ones based on features I use, and don't like shifting through colour screens of crap I dont.
