What I don't understand is this.....I go to college with two Muslim lads and one acting Christian lad. At no point have the two Muslim lads ever said ''can you take your chain off with your cross on as it offends me''.

Why is it that these school teachers think Christianity would offend any other religion?

Not that any of it bothers me of course cos all religion is 'dangle berries'  ;D (in my opinion of course and I promise not to make my views known in public... just in case there's any communist teachers reading this  ;D

And therein lies the crux of the matter!
In almost every case, it is not the Foreigners' among us who complain of being offended, rather it is the Establishment  Liberal Elite in positions of power & responsibility who pander to their own perceived idea of what might offend people of other Faiths etc and then shove their flawed perceptions down our throats and try to make us change the Laws and Customs so hard fought for and won with the sweat, blood and tears of our Forebears. The worst of these can be found inhabiting the corridors of every Town Hall in the land and enforcing their views with a fanatical zeal >:(

Not sure I could have put it any better at all  :y :y :y

If it was a school my kids attended I would kick up a stink by getting other parents involved, complaining to the School Governors, Education Authority, Local Councillor, MP and the press both local and National.  :y Doesn't take long to send an EMail or two :y

Then again just shoot the bitch ;) or post a black turd through her letter box  ::) ;D ;D ;D ;D

People like her are a cause of racial tension and are allowed to teach our children >:( >:(

its like the saying..the token black man, last years nativity and at my kids school and mary was a black girl to which doesn't bother me but I believe the school daren't have a white mary for fear of upsetting the black minority which to me points to where the racism is.they go on about racism and equal rights but its always the ethnic minority that complains and shouts racist.its very multi racial the school and in all I think everyone rubs along alright and when Christian celebrations happen it seems everyone joins in and ive never heard of any probs but I do think England rolls over to have its belly tickled rather than stand up the claim and say 'dangle berries' when in rome

You know what I just can't get? First rule - my opinion- if you're a guest, act like a guest.
I used to work in Norway 10 years ago for a few months and can't tell what an "ichy" feeling it was - no one of natives said anything offendive to me ever, neither were there any issues with them or me/us, but I was just very carefull about what I said, how I acted and always trying to blend in - not being offendive to natives in any way. Being blonde and blue eyed was perfect for me not to be too much "spoted", after all I was there, taking away work and money some of the natives could get, if you know what I mean.
I was aware of that all the time I spent there.
Just can't get those incomers of yours or here in my country, expecting us to obay their wishes, their rules.....it's retarded, really. It won't be long untill they demand their own country inside yours and of course you'll be "the biggest" reason for that because you don't take them as they are....
If you're a guest, act like a guest and be happy you're allowed to stay there. Really can't get it  >:(

Political Correctness I personally find very, very, offensive and that is why it makes my blood boil.  >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( Personally, I would withdraw my child from school for the day in such circumstances on the grounds that this is a christian country, with the CofE our official religion and Christmas is a christian religious festival.

If people who move to this country don't find our way of life acceptable then they should move to a country that is more agreeable. But in reality most do find it very agreeable and aren't offended, it is only in the minds of Government employed left wing Common Purpose subversives and their ilk, who want to brainwash the next generation.

I don't know about other people but I'm glad I'm leaving this country as me and the EU / Westminster socialism constantly make me very angry. The United Kingdom and me are no longer compatible, sad but true.  :( :( :( :( :(

I think Russia got us off a hook there as the Ukrainian president has said the EU didn't offer enough financial aid, some of which would have been British taxpayers money.  ::)

Well they can't have our money now, but we'll still send them Rods!!  ;D

It is only a free trade EFA agreement like Switzerland and Norway have. Ukraine needs better access to world markets and to modernise the country. I think they will eventually sign, but where their economy is on a knife edge at the moment with only 2.5 months of foreign reserves and Russia their biggest export market, they are not in a position to survive a trade war.

Many teachers and doctors have not been paid their salaries for several months, this is the reality for their current financial situation.

How do they pay the rent / mortgage and eat or does the Government ensure their accommodation is secure somehow?..........

No, your problem it is up to you how you survive. In the past in one bad period, it went on for between 8 and 12 months depending upon the region/city/town/village. Last month cities got paid, so far it looks like no teachers or doctors are going to get paid in any region at the end of this month. When it comes to pay their priorities are the military, police, justice system, prison service, pensioners etc with teachers and doctors right at the bottom of the list as they know their options are limited. Doctors will be alright as they will unofficially charge the patients which they do anyway. It is meant to free at the point of access but it is not. Some unscrupulous teachers will charge the children / students for good marks, but they do that anyway.

Poor pay in the public services is why it is so corrupt where the unscrupulous use their position to make money. The real money earning positions are border guards, police and tax inspectors.

Not a good situation with the imminent onset of winter.

What happened before was people did whatever they needed to do to survive, relying on parents, family and friends, selling stuff, moonlighting, getting another job and using survival techniques, like a hot water bottle or two over layers of clothing is much cheaper to keep warm then trying to heat a house when it is -25degC.

Eastern Europeans learn at a very young age work to survive which is why they have a good work ethic and are as hard as nails.

As you know I'm no fan of the EU, but I think the EFA agreement would help the country because it will put pressure on to modernise their economy and government practices would help the Ukraine and Ukrainian people.

There have been more big protests today in Kiev over the Government's veto of signing the EFA agreement.
