I lent my 2.8i Mk 2 Grannie to my then 18 year old son some years ago and yes, he got pulled. Had to go to cop shop
in Sudbury, Suffolk to verify that he was ok to drive it.

I lost count of the amount of times my parents had to go to the police station with my birth certificate when I first started driving, but I guess having a 5 year old Granada and only looking 14 at best was probably enough for them to think it was nicked.

Got stopped a few times in the Granada 2.9 , it was once owned by a band member of showaddywaddy 

That should knock a few hundred quid off it's value.

They were shite.

Oh yes  It was a chauffeur car for the band members , wish i still had it . Still lovely big cars with a lot of toys
