Excellent - especially the views of Sandra Bullock floating around without too much kit on.

Plot is a tad far fetched from a technical perspective - but hugely enjoyable from an entertainment perspective  :y

Cant wait for the DVD

Watched the Oblivion with Tom Cruise last week, not bad either but had to watch twice to work out what was going on, maybe didn't pay attention first time round.  ::)

Was gonna watch Oblivion tonight, but might have an early night instead. Saw Elysium last night, disappointing. Not seen Gravity yet.

Thought it very hyped up.
Alot of special effects and action but otherwise boring, apart from Sandra Bullock who is one stunning looking actress.

+1. It was more like: "How many ways can you try to kill one person" and "try, try till you succeed".

Well, not under any illusions about story line, as it never claimed that. It's the cinematography I wanted, and got in spades.

I was not sure weather to see the 3d version or not, as i was disappointed with the 3d aspect of Avatar and TT. (But the films themselves where great of course, IMO.)
H had bought the glasses and I wasn't sure so 3d it was, bugger it.

I'm glad we did though, as I thought the 3d element was much improved from what I had seen previously, nothing like the pop up book type images of Avatar, offering depth instead. Or, this type of film lent itself to 3d more readily. :-\
It was impressive IMO. Bits of debris flying out of the screen straight in your face. Stunning images of Earth, the beauty of the whole thing, sence if depth and width was awesome. Although we where near the front, with the whole width of the screen reaching the width of the 3d glasses without moving my head or missing anything.

Gets a WOW from me. :y

But then I only tend to watch films at the cinema that are worthy of a BIG screen. Anything else can wait for the Blu-Ray. On my own, merely Big, screen.

Loved it. :)

I loved it, but then I have a weakness for Sandra B so I am unlikely to be impartial ::)

3d makes you really feel what the astronauts feel .. no land .. nothing to hold and when you start to turn on your axis , its a terrifying experience..  honestly wouldnt accept that job for any money ;D :-\
