Rear coil springs
« on: 08 February 2014, 20:17:59 »

Do I need heavy duty rear springs for my MV6, or will standard one do? It's not the self levelling type.

Either will work but it will sit higher, and be slightly softer. I'd suggest the handling won't be as good.

I thought Vauxhall referred to the MV6 chassis as "lowered sports chassis" or "LSC"

"Heavy Duty" springs are probably going to be normal length but stiffer than standard.

LSC springs are shorter and stiffer than bog standard.

Is if facelift or prefacelift? FL ones use LSC springs, only available from dealer. These are 15mm lower, and stiffer.

Sach or Boge are good makes, and worth paying a few quid more for.
