Locking numbers on a Iphone 4
« on: 09 October 2014, 19:35:26 »

As above

Well it looks like I have a friggin stalker  >:( >:(

Every now and again, I get a call or two off a slightly nutty ex customer who lives in the midlands.
Don't get me wrong here, she is not a bad lass but after 2 or 3 calls with her whining about the same old shite, it gets on your wick a little  :-X

Over the last few days, the nutty one has started calling again only this time the devious bitch has started baring her number out.
Problem is, some of my family and friends tend to withhold there numbers by default so ignoring these numbers on a permanent basis is not a option sadly  :(

I've been through the settings and even spoke to the muppets at 02.
According to them, they cannot stop "blocked caller ID" calls from getting through

Short of changing my number (which is not a option) or grassing her up to the police, i'm not sure what to do here  :-\
I don't know where she lives of even her surname  >:(

If she was a bloke, I had the address and not over 200 miles away, it would be easy to sort but this is beginning to upset my family and i've had to promise the missus that I will not do anything eh .....................  :-X :-X

Anybody got any solutions to this or am I going to be forced into having a word with the police ?

If it was just me, she would get both barrels BUT its the main phone number for my family so the missus and lad answers the phone.
As said, its beginning to upset my family  ;)
Upsetting me is one this. I'll either ignore it of kick off BUT when its my family, well shall we say that's another thing ................

You said it in your second sentence. You have a stalker, you know who it is, so police.

ios 7 and above (iirc) has the option to block specific numbers, but if withheld out of your control afaik.

Had a word with the family last night / today and told them to show there number if they ring us or they will end up talking to the answer machine.
Thanks to jimbob and Grain.ben for that info.
Looks like your spot on so phone now gets switched into "do not disturb mode" when i'm at home so it only rings if the caller is on my favourite list.
Anybody else goes straight to the answer machine so if the nutty bastid carries on playing silly bugger, she can leave her own evidence on the answer machine for the police  :)

You can select 'All Contacts' instead of 'Favourites' if you want your entire contacts list on your accepted 'Do Not Disturb' list as well if you so wish.  :y
This would allow all known contacts to ring you still.  :y
Not ideal but a bit of a swerve around until she gets the message.  :-\
