Possibly it wasn't passive .. it was loose and "blowing in the wind" ??? :)

Although no one has it spot on, the warmest is TB.

No movement i  the field of vision. No boiler exhaust. And the sensor is switching on the porch light so it cannot be that ;-)

Hence why the fault only happens at night.....when the camera switches to night mode and switches on its IR LEDs.......trust me it took me a lot longer than you lot  ;D
