Ideal then, he cant get the hang of a clutch on a 125 yet  

Something to practice on...

I can control the clutch fine, first ever time on it, i could pull away smoothly, its just sometimes i forget and let it out a bit quick  

Although i can ride up to a 400cc with my CBT.

eh what. i thought cbt only let you ride upto 125. you still have to display L plates with a cbt.

Depends on age.

If your 21 or over, and you have passed your CBT, you can ride anything up to 33bhp.

400cc/33bhp if you pass your test on a 125cc...

While only holding a CBT, your restricted to using a 125cc/11bhp bike.

You can only go on a larger CC bike than 125 on a CBT when with a qualified instructor on DAS.
