Something to practice on...

I can control the clutch fine, first ever time on it, i could pull away smoothly, its just sometimes i forget and let it out a bit quick  ::)

Although i can ride up to a 400cc with my CBT.

It won't go fast enough to do much damage ;D

Actually Mark it is because you are 24 and it is a low risk bike

eh what. i thought cbt only let you ride upto 125. you still have to display L plates with a cbt.

It was only about £100 TPF&T for me about 4 or 5 years back to insure an 850 TDM. I'm somewhat older, 46, but not had a bike since I was as old as you.

Depends on age.

If your 21 or over, and you have passed your CBT, you can ride anything up to 33bhp.

I'd look at something just a shade bigger - no need to go mad, but something with just a bit more go. 125 will bottom out at about 60ish, give or take, just not quite quick enough to keep up with traffic, esp if you commute along A43

If memory serves correct are you not quite tall and slim Tunnie....if so i dont you would feel or look right on the baby crusier.

Id personaly recommend something like a Trails type bike....some lovely looking bikes and have a reasonable amount of grunt but not overly quick.

I'm paying £86 for the year on my CG125 through Bennetts...  26 years old, no NCB on bike, and 6 points (SP30, SP50)

:)
