The outer ring can be pressed flush :y

Yeh sorry Al, I meant a small amount of clearance underneath for the tube that the bolt goes through.  :y
I used a big socket underneath that matched the size of the wishbone bush ring, then a socket on the top that matched the new bush outer ring and then pressed it in. No stress on the wishbone then.  :y  As you rightly say, the new bush is pressed in until it is flush.  :y

Freeze the bush overnight and place two of these...

...overlapped above the new bush, and another two beneath the wishbone and clamp the whole lot together until the bush is home :y

Place the clamps where the brackets overlap...
