Windscreen washers stopped working
« on: 09 May 2015, 23:55:23 »

My washer jets has stopped working a few days ago just after I topped up the washer bottle, although it still sounds as the pump is working away and I have tried cleaning the jet nozzles with a pin but still no joy

Any ideas folks

Thanks

Got to be the oldest topic on the oof. As the guide, there is a filter in the rubber grommet that the pump plugs into. Pull the pump out, remove the grommit clean filter while the the contents of the bottle gush out. Refit.

Then... Use screen wash. It's a health hazard not to. Legionaires etc. worth a google if unbelieving. Apart from anything else screen wash keeps the slime at bay that blocks the filter. :y
