Stupid tint , got it perfect cut then torn off the backing film and the wind blew it onto itself

If applying tint, use plenty of water with a SMALL dash of washing up liquid.  You need to 'float' the film to the glass.  I tend to use a spreader card (used for adding filler to body panels) wrapped in felt to 'push', the bubble from the middle out.  A sharp scalpel is a must also.

The rear window has a deep curve and the tint wont
react to heat shrink in the proper manor , the pleets wont shrink out  :(
I think its because the tint is not supple enough so you end up either melting
it or creasing it ..
Wonder how much they charge for doing just a rear window  ;D

Say what now?  :o

Take the shelf out yourself (Ten minutes) and say to them "TA-DAAAAA"....

Or use a tinting firm who know what they are doing.

Modern films have a 'memory'.  Use the exterior of the glass to 'shape' the film and then apply it in the normal way to the interior of the window.

S'not rocket!

Did say it's one for the professionals, they make it look so easy. It's worth it though  :y
