Seeing as I know Tunnie went to a beer festival yesterday, and by all accounts had a sherry too many, I felt it was my duty to find a nice nasty job for him today....
So at midday, I turn up to be greeted by a very pale looking Tunnie, and ask for the use of his (level) garage to change ATF - a job I absollutely detest.
Get the MV6 up on some ramps at the front, but it turns out I'd too 'well built' to fit under enough to get to back sump, so I volunteer Tunnie
Everything went to plan, though took much longer than the 2-3hrs I'd expected. Also, in my devious plan, Tunnie got covered in ATF
. I have absolutely no idea how, but my hair stinks of the stuff as well, even though I've washed it twice now.
The old stuff was dark brown, but not burnt, and magnet had the normal amount of sludge on it.
Box now even smoother, so was probably due (150k, no history of it being done).
Thanks again Tunnie - its a job I really hate. I think I may owe you a climate update. And a beer.
