DVLA used to have a section where you could just put a registration in and it'd give you a brief description of the vehicle. It's changed now, in that you need to put the reg in AND the vehicle make.
Auto trader used to have a similar searc, but that doesn't have it any more.
If I have a reg number, does anyone know a site where youcan still get a breif description? Or is it against somebody's human rights now to give such info?

someone posted a link on here a while back to a third party site which had a reg thingy that told you car make and model and if it was taxed or not ;)

should be private if you ask me but the DVLA will sell your details to anyone who can afford it >:(

Google HPi, click on the first site (i think). You'll get the usual gumf but ignore it & scroll the bottom of the page where you'll find a bar, type in the reg & it'll tell you the make of vehicle & maybe the colour, cc, etc. depending on what records Swansea have on the said vehicle.

Beware. You could be sat up all night punching nos. of cars your Dad had when you were 8 or checking your nieghbours cars to see if they bought a ringer!!! You have to pay for a full check but it's a bit of fun! :y
