Extreme - the band
« on: 22 November 2008, 00:54:01 »

Any of you lot remember Extreme? I was too young when they first came out in the 80's, but soon got hold of Pornograffiti and instantly became a lifetime fan. The only track most people know of is More Than Words, but they have so much cheesy heavy rock on tap it's unreal.

Went to see them in Newport leisure centre last night and they have pipped my 'best band I've seen of all time'. My ears are still ringing!!

I can't believe know one has heard of these. I grew up thinking they were just a flash in the pan that just happened to be really good, but now they are back! So if you are into your hard rock/ metal give them a try!

Especially if you are at all guitar orientated. Nuno Bettencourt is in my opinion THE best guitarist I have heard

Yep, i have some of their records ::) :y To our younger viewers, these are like huge black CDs with two sides :P
Apparently when Pornograffiti was first released in the US loads of American's bought the CD thinking that all the tracks would be like "More Than Words". NOOOO ;D ;D
