I think I'll try and de-dust (is there such a word)

Best way is take the box outside, minus the side/top a give it a good blast with compressed air and then carefully vacuum/ sweep up with a paint brush all loose clumps of dust

Don't use a paint brush on electronic components, such as motherboard etc - I have known people do this and b*llux a board (static).  Air or Vac ok.

Try downloading a Freeware program or everest (i use this all time)to check your temps  to see if ought is overheating you can leave it running whilst your using pc then you will notice if it any hardware overheats eg cpu especially
Memory can cause any number of probs too when it goes tits up if you have more than one stick in take one out & see how it goes if it still reboots swap it for the other stick & try that..mind you using memtest 86 is best way it thoroughly checks/tests the memory a link here for both

Just to say, i have no software running on it, because i have factory restored it 3 times now as said in my first post.

I will try a clean out, but dont hold out much hope.
I think it may be corrupted somehow, and is not curing itself with a full restore :(

Have you checked system logs ? That will give loads of info..

Anyway a clean fresh install with a formatted hard drive during install

will show all errors..My estimation is you will likely encounter some problems..

It may be worthwhile investing in a new CPU cooler and case fans. They are dirt cheap - but will be clean as they are new!  ;)

New fans should be quieter and more efficient at shifting air in that case.

Novatech are excellent for that sort of thing!  :y
