Great meet, nice to meet everyone new & old. Thanks to Jimbob for sorting the tech 2 out and updating my gearbox. shame it kept having a fit when trying to update the climate but it wasn't a priority, there is a definate improvement in the gearbox though.  :y

Shame it was a bit chilly and we all disperesed a bit earlier than expected but it was either that or get frost bite! lol

Look forward to the next meet!!  :y

Rich

No worries, that climate was weird, neither 2.6 would update  :-/

Didn't realise you'd tried it on another 2.6! I just thought it may have failed because my outsid temp sensor isn't working at the moment.

Yes, the one next to yours as well, both gearboxes updated, but neither climate would!

was probably operator error, but not sure how!

Lol...if you watch the climate panel on the later units (there are two hardware versions of facelift cimate panel) during the update, it turns itself off as the programming access starts.

If you simply turn the panel back on it will continue with the software update without issue.  :y

Glad you like it  :y
I turned your climate off, AFTER attempting the update, while doing the gearbox, which tech2 recommends you to turn off 'other' electrical items to save battery power.
