Thats a lot of Internet usage too be fair....but your talking the price of a sky package or virgin ect.

Either way if its payg he can vary it month too month so he only uses what he needs.

Its the E220 i use...id say its better than the usb versions.

Least with the E220 you have the flexibility of using a lead this allows you too find a better signal,even moving it a few inches can make a surprising difference.

Asda Sell a 10M USB - A M/F lead basically a USB Extension lead its £4.99 and i use it to move my E169 in and out the window lol ::)

Sounds similar to mine only i have the mini usb thing on the 220
