Passed the MOT !
« on: 24 March 2009, 12:19:10 »

Passed ok with same advisory on list as last year mind you only done 2,500miles in this 2.0l  since last one :-[ + no 4
1/Pitted inner faces of front discs
2/offside fr brake pipe slightly corroded
3/    "     rear    "             "           "
4/Rear axle brake pipe      "           "

I asked how much for Labour only fitting new discs & pads told me £30 thought that sounded ok.  as I'm still feeling really shite  with the stomach problems I have been having, going for endoscopy when ozzy make me an appointment yuk and really could'nt possibly work on car way i feel, so will let em do it,once I get the stuff from VX dealer might even let em do the brake pipes too once I get it priced :y

MOT was £50 going up to £54 next month :-/

£50 rising to £54. Gosh what a lot of money.

I thought the 35 euros (from memory) here in Spain was enough.

Had this done last year - Not painful but rather uncomfortable, only advice I can give when having it done is to control your breathing, makes it a little less irritating.  Good luck.

Having had this done a couple of times, my advice would be TAKE WHATEVER SEDATION THEY OFFER.  Best of luck with it.

Well done with the miggy  :y
