Not a fan of red wine at all.

But it seems I prefer sysrupy type wine and sweet rather than dry.  down side for me is I can never remember the names of what I bought for the next time round.

Once nicked a bottle of Muscadet from Mum and Dads wine chiller (The cuboard where the gas meter was) and that was lovely, but have bought Muscadet since and didnt enjoy it at all.

Wines I have enjoyed the most as daft as it is are the cheap table wines whilst on holiday in Malta that we used to take back to the villa.

skruntie-you'd probably enjoy a nice californian zinfandel rose over ice - perfect for the warm summer days i'm sure we'll be getting

Not daft at all. Any decent restaurant, in a wine producing country, that deals with locals has good quality house wine. The locals expect it to be good.

  Don't normally like red wine but i really did like "whistling duck", came with a chinese meal and is supposed to be rare -i've never seen it anywhere apart from Fenwicks in Newcastle and they don't normally sell s***e wines ,went down VERY well
