The OOF wine club
« on: 30 May 2010, 22:17:14 »

Just polished off a lovely "Cab Sav" from Sainsburys if anyones interested - personally - I know nothing about wine, but i've found i like a lot of Californian reds but theres nothing worse than splashing out on a bottle of window cleaner or furniture polish  :(

so i can recommend sainsbury's "Gray Fox, 2008 Cabernet Sauvignon" very smooth and fruity and far too drinkable.....which probably means its crap - but i like it  :y and its definitely less than a fiver, because i never spend more than that  ;)

tis a tricky business. price doesnt always mean a decent bottle. have been drinking wine from chile, good couple of bottles then a duff one so going to give it a go. just plucked the rhubarb from the garden and is currently reacting in a saucepan before the switchover tomorrow.
we will see... :-/

I've mis-judged OOF, I didn't realise we had wine connoisseurs here!  :D

Does this mean the weekend meets are going to be collar and tie and maybe dinner jackets?? :'( ;D ;)

Do like the odd bottle glass or two of wine once in a while, still haven't quite decided what I like best though  :-/

Don’t really drink that often, so tend to make it worth it when I venture out! :D
