Well its all sorted now thanks to TB, and some little tweaks in my firewall and services settings in the router, Its amazing how close I was at some points over the last few days.

Gone different IP and different ports and then its just down to settings in router.

All working great atm.

Thanks TB and thanks to all for help.

I'm still learning with this type of network stuff. Most I've done before is port forwarding for my slingbox.

Cheers

Glad its sorted now  :y

My new router is a bl**dy nightmare too, sometimes....i know what i want it to do.....but its all menu driven and ask questions all the time on what you what you want to do....and sometimes its a mare trying to get it ask the right question  >:(

If i view connected devices its laughable.....
connected to it i have all wireless, netbook, desktop, printer, wireless bridge,tv
The only items it gets correct is netbook and desktop.....tho the netbook is iffy as its gets it correct and then also says its connected with a different ip addy, which is actually the tv  ;D Never mentions the printer or wireless bidge ;D

However all works ok  :y
