Evening, late I know, but does anyone know of a vauxhall breakers or such locoated in the southeast area? Had a small disagreement with a bollard this evening. Rear bumper is pushed in and the tailgate is creased and jammed shut.

Omega specialist breaker in Heathrow? Prolific on eBay last I looked

Indeed. omegaspareparts. Run by an amiable chap called Steve. Prices are comparable to south east breakers.
Pre and post facelift tailgates are interchangable, face lift bumpers fit pre facelift, but NOT other way round, lights are one size fits all.
He is literally 1 minute from the Peggy Bedford services on the A4. That's the one with the Total Garage and Mcdognads Drive through. The easiest way to get hold of him is to go to his ebay shop, find his contact number and ring him as he almost always answers first attempt.

re the tail gate if you just hit the bumper

it will be due to the rear panel where bummer brackets are

mine push in there when i was rear ended at the lights

once you get the boot open and trim off it usually  knock back prity easy on the omegas

if you not hit it hard enough to bend the floor pan
and it has to be a prity hard hit to do that so unless you really slammed into post

ill bet floor is fine

how bad the bumper i put a 5 inch hole in mine in a tinny 18inch high bollard you couldn't see from in side car

 i had it plastic welded and filled and painted buy a local spot repair guy, a rusty arch done and a scratched sill for 200 quid

the lock jamming will be due to pressure as its on that panel that's pushed in

try one guy with pushing with feet or giving a outward kick from inside car while you try to open from out side

Thanks for the advise. Got the tailgate open and managed to get some of the crease out of the panel. Paint cracked unfortunately, so will cover it with some touch up to keep the weather out. If the weather holds this weekend I'll take the bumper off and see if I can bend the metal back into shape. I've been told that if I heat the plastic outer, the crease should come out ok. We'll see. Anyway, thanks for the reply.
