Why?  :-/

Flavour is ok with Beer. Mostly. But warm beer is just wrong.  :-? IMO.  ;)

.. because if it's too cold you have no flavour.  ;) Simple fact of life. You can't have cold beer with flavour.

Having said that, it doesn't need to be warm, just not ice cold. 12 degrees is about right. Still below room temperature. Still cold enough to be refreshing on a warm day.

Take a tasty real ale and chill it to lager temperatures and it will lose its' flavour. Lager has no flavour, so doesn't suffer. ;)

Sounds like a good excuse to do some testing in the name of science, though. I'll chuck a couple of bottles in the 'fridge for you. [smiley=beer.gif]

Much as I was pleasantly surprised, on average, by a recent beer festival. It's difficult for me to get round a basic design fault with beer. It's warm.

...or at least certainly not cold. What qualifies a drink to be cold/warm/hot/room temp i'm not sure.

But it seems to me a pint of anything should be cold!

Strange though that shorts should be fine at room temp. But they are and that's that. Add ice if you wish of course. But generally warm is ok.

Strange. Guiness= cold. lager=cold. Cider= cold. Beer = warm.

Why?

I'm not a wine fan, much as a certain admin would prefer i was. But Red=warm. White=cold.

Why?  :-/

On the subject of wine, did I call the waiter in the Indian gay because he drinks wine?
