The first book, A Game of Thrones came out in 1996, the second A Clash of Kings 1998, the third A Storm of Swords 2000, the fourth A Feast for Crows 2005, the fifth A Dance with Dragons has been out for about a week or so  :y
Each book is like a Bible they are so thick, so I may have to read each yet again. . .

mmm put the first one on the kindle a few weeks back ... not got around to reading it yet .... might have to try it next .. :)

You really need to stick with it Nige when you first start reading them. Hard to remember who did what and the Character names. Class though when you get into them :y

Ive been waiting for a kindle before I start them...

The print in the books is too small and crappy for me to comfortabley read at the end of the day.
