I must admit, I have been considering buying something like this, that has the brushes, our carpet does get hammered, looks OK till you move something, ::) ::) ::)  storage is a slight problem but how is it for capacity, seem quite small to me?

That is the downside... Cleaning fluid tank is fine (although I could do with a spare as it can also be used for hard floors with a different chemical) but the "dirty" tank does need emptying frequently ::)

I got one of those Vax carpet washers off ebay earlier this year and they are fantastic.  Every couple of months I give the carpets a wash and I stay in the good books with Mrs G for a long time  :y

It worked well on the miggy interior as well, esp after dog sitting for a friend.  I think it cost less than a ton so well worth it  ;)

Aye...We weighed up hiring a rug doctor a few years ago.

decided for the cost to buy a Bissell cleaner instead.

Good bit of kit, always there for that spill - great with kids / animals, and for cleaning, no planning and hiring, just grab it and start.

Well worth the money  :y
