Mine's ex-plod, and it's got proper MV6 seats - although they could have been retro-fitted.

The black 2.6 MV6 in your picture? Which force was on the V5C? It won't have been an operational vehicle, but may well have been used for other purpouses.

Yeah, the black one, Darlington until it was a year or so old, then sold on.
No idea what it was used for though!

Once had an ex- NYPD Carlton 2.6 (less than L trim!), but the interior light had it's own switch to kill it when the doors opened..............stakeout! :y

Had the same kill switch on the black 3.2 ex police, took me long enough to trace the wiring back. I would hazard a guess that yours was used by a ranking officer, Supt or above.
All marked and unmarked facelift Omega's for front line duty either went through Vauxhall SVO or other out of house companies. The Metropolitan Police authority do have a very few Elite spec vehicles, they currently have a green 3.2 Elite estate equipped with blue and two's...gave them a call a few days ago.
So yours would not have been on front line duty, and I suspect all fittings are original...i.e seats, wheels, silver dash trim. I know someone who seems to have records of pretty much every police vehicle that has been in operation over the past 10 years. I'll see what he knows about yours, but I'd be happy to bet your recaro seats are all original and it wasn't the typical ex police vehicle.
