when my last HID lamp died..

Blue / white / yellow to start

then went purpleish, then pinkish
then flickered and died in the space of about a week iirc.

Its dependent on if you want the best lights for driving or the most chavvy look.

The 6000K will give the chavvy blue look at the expense of the optimal useable driving light output.  :y

I use philips 6K and defintely crystal white not even bluish..

Same with mine last year...On start up was fine but then when Pinkish.

Also drive a Savage 25 niro truck...and flys a Bell 47 twister Savage 46 ss and a Tamiya audi TT ..for now.

Your best bet for the standard look will be 4300k D2S bulbs.
