WOW I am surprised at the attitude of a lot of you. As if you are not able to see the space between you and the car in front getting smaller and you are not a tleast 2 seconds gapped then is the driver of the car behind that is at fault. Yes the lights will be darker but there is a 3rd BIG brake like that is eye level that isn't going to be tinted that you should be able to see.

I haven't taken the attictude that just because the law states its the car behinds fault. But I DRIVE SAFELY leaving big gaps between me and the car in front, And this thread has made me want to highly modify the car.

And if you are soo angry at ppl with tinted lights I suggest you double check your lights aren't factory tinted where a lot of Omega B Pre Facelifts are tinted which are DARKER and less visible than the standard clear lights.

Seriously STOP JUDGING and I am very annoyed at the fact this topic has gone OFF TOPIC and turned into a BLOOD BATH.

All I asked at the beginning was if it looked OK or not and look at the crap that has started.

And for that reason I am no longer posting on this thread.
GROW UP THE LOT OF YOU!!!

You ask what we think.. then get upset at the response .....  easy answer .. don't ask a qustion if you might not like the answer.

Just do what you want .... legal/illegal it is your car/your problem.... but it appears to me you came here expecting a "wow brilliant" response ... and now it has not turned out that way ... poor old teddy has had to leave the cot.....

Pick teddy up, give him a cuddle, then take your hot mik to bed ...  :)

..... either that or grow up and take the answers you have recieved as being a disagreement, with reasons given, for your proposals.

You are entitled to your opinion ... but so is everyone else .. and those opinions do not have to agree with yours.

This thread has me howling with laughter! IMO, lightly smoked lights can look good. But if you are intending to make them as dark as you say you will probably end up getting hit from behind... Just because you are the best driver in the world doesn't mean everyone else is  ::) Part of driving is being aware of the other idiots on the road ;) Reducing the intensity of your lights will make it harder to see you... FACT. If you're willing to do that then don't be surprised if there's tears in the future... I would certainly ensure the lights were tested before letting my insurance company paid out ;)

Oh... And I assume this modification will be declared to your insurance company :-?

locking as original post removed.

please all play nicely.

this is not about airing opinions, all of which were very valid around the lights, legalities, viability, and considering you may have a 90 year old with poor eyesight behind you, not a 19 year old with 2020 vision.

When personal insults are thrown it becomes inappropriate, please all remember this in future.
