Steering idler - best source ?
« on: 27 August 2011, 00:01:14 »

Any particular supplier in vogue at the moment for quality/price etc ?
I know from experience that LMF items are made from plasticine, but beyond that....... :-/
MOT due soon, and steering felling quite vague, had it enough times to be pretty sure the idler is worn, although I will take a minute to confirm tomorrow.

they are a good supplier - but you dont want that one...they normally do an OEM one - Lemforder which is better  :y

Searched all their listings and shop, it appears they no longer stock Lemforder :-?

Apologises Albs, Jimbob is quite right to point out my error.  They are a good supplier, but as previously said, they used to / possibly still do a 'Lemforder' branded one, this is the one I meant to point you in the direction of and not this one... opps  :-/

Lemforder idlers are on back order. They should have them in a couple of weeks, if anyone else needs one in the near future.
Price will be aprox. £40. :y

Dunno, trade club login seems to have changed again since last week and its usually pointless ringing stealers.Less frustrating trying to nail jelly to the ceiling than trying to get a sensible answer from them over the phone. ::) ;D
Shouldnt think a rusty appearance will be a big problem. Its the wear in the bush which causes problems afaik. :y
