Normally short trips, about 22 mpg
raising to 30 on a light footed run.

Top is about 150

Is that all you've not got? ABS or TC lights on too?
As far as top speed is concerned you'll be lucky to find enough empty speed camera free motorway to find out!  ;D

You could always ask a Policeman!

MV6 3.0 Manual, 25MPG in town, 28 average, 34 (light foot) on a run.

3.0 Estate Auto:

Just reset the gauge comp to go to the scrappy. Taking it easy 14 miles of country roads and roundabouts.... i averaged 30.4 mpg!  :o :o

Once i got back it had dropped to 29.7 mpg, my 2.2 can't do much better than that!

When I had the 3.0 dropped off, the average showed 35.6 mpg... which was a fast run from Cheltnham to Brackley.
