Ever since the mishap with the cam sensor getting trapped my mig seems to REALLY like the petrol  :-/ For example slowly accelerating from 20 to 30 mph and its down to about 8 1/2 mpg??? Surely thats not right???   :(

If you quickly accelerate, the display shows a low number for a far shorter time.

I deduce this means it must be more economical  ::)

Engine management light working ok?  The car will use a ridiculous amount of petrol if it's in LOS mode.
