Air Con Question

My 3.0 seems to run a few degrees hotter with AC on . Up to about 97- is this normal or do i start looking at a system descale & flush etc.

Interesting, they normally run hotter with it off, ie eco button pushed, the front fans don't run then. It is climate control?
Are both your auxiliary fans running all the time with compressor clutched in?

I to find my 3.0 runs slightly warmer with the air-con on too...

Also if i have the heaters on warm it runs cooler than if heaters are on cold :D

Hi Mike,
Yes my system is Climate Control- but -
Not too sure what I'm doing with the AC.  I just press "Auto & turn temp down to "LO" & it gets all blowey &  nice & cold.

The two fans behind grill run when AC is on.

Not sure what "ECO" switch does though.  :-[ :-[ Any chance you could describe what I should be doing in using the AC.

I set the temp to about 68-70 and let the climate maintain that temp within the car. If you set it on low it will just keep blowing at max fan speed forever :y
