new key probs

just had a new key fob from ebay
how do i get it to sync with my car
ive swoped the key fob part so i can use the main key part
just cant get the fob bit to sync
any ideas

I think you need a Tech1 to program it to your car...
I think "My Naff Code Reader" devices can also do this  :-/

There are a few guys on here who have Tech1s and 2s at a fraction of the cost that a stealers will charge you.

TB comes to mind instantly but I am sure there are others  :y

Had mine programmed at a Vauxhall dealer it only cost about £25
